Dear Gail, Michele & Brent We shall always have fond memories of your Father, Grandfather. I remember on warm summer days he would stroll the street accompanied by family, friends, the family's furry four legged friend or sometimes just by himself. When the first signs of summer appeared ("namely the weeds"), Steve could be found stooped or kneeling down on the front lawn or boulevard, waging the war with the Dandielion population. (Steve attempted this in the good ol'e fashioned means, knife in hand and a good strong wrist action.) But the most heartwarming, and endearing memory etched deeply in our mind is picturing Steve comfortably seated on his front steps enjoying the day. Upon arriving in his view, Steve would then raise his arm and give a gracious wave. You could be walking or in your car, his welcoming hello always made you feel special and noticed. Steve we sure will be missing your familiar greeting. This Summer just won't be the same, but nestled in our mind's eye, and in the heart, We'll still be seeing you in all the familiar places. Enjoy a safe and gentle journey Steve, you're a remarkable man. Gail, Michele & Brent whatsoever soothes your Spirit, comforts your Soul and brings you peace, that is what is wished for you during this difficult transition of Steve's passage into Spirit. May photos, mementos and your favorite stories allow you to wander the paths of rememberance; reliving the joys of fond memories that caress and breathe comfort and strength into a tearful heart. We each reflect the lives around us, the hearts that love us, even when our brightest lights leave this Earth, they continue to shine in us. Steve's unfading light and unforgettable life will forever grace you with his presence. "Somewhere in the Universe a New Star shines for you, sending out a loving warmth, sharing a healing light." "Perhaps they are not stars in the sky but rather openings in Heaven where our loved ones shine down to let us know they are happy."
