The joy and laughter, your lovely smile, just being together and the yearly Christmas visits. Then a shocking message one night ended everything. "Your daughter's life is ebbing away." Rushing to your bedside and clasping your hands in mine, just hoping upon hope but for a blink of an eye or a smile on your lips, but all in vain. With a heavy heart and a million tears, the time had come for me to say "Please let her go to her new home with her Dad." Thanks for the 50 wonderful years. Heart-break remains. All my love, Mom.
