JOSEPH WOYTKO February 23, 1924 - March 2, 2014 Peacefully on Sunday, March 2, 2014, Joseph passed away at Kildonan Personal Care Centre at the age of 90 years. Joseph was the son of William and Julia Woytko. He was predeceased by his parents, brother John, and sister Marie Jewell. He is survived by sister-in-law Joyce White and numerous family and friends. As one of Jehovah's Witnesses, Joseph had full faith in the promise that God's word contains. He looked forward to the time when this world will be restored to paradise and mankind will enjoy the full life in a righteous and happy state. But the meek will possess the earth, And they will find exquisite delight in the abundance of peace. Psalm 37:11 Memorial service will be on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Glen Eden Funeral Home, 4477 Main Street. Glen Eden Funeral Home & Cemetery 338-7111

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Joe Woytko faithfully came to our house after Work to conduct a free Home Bible Study with our Family in the early 1960's. As little children, we watched for his 62 Pontiac to drive up in front of our house ..... right on time, every Monday night. He taught us the Sciptures contained in the Bible with the help of the book "PARADISE LOST to PARADISE REGAINED". Each week he gave us all Assignments in our Notebooks to complete by the next week. We learned that God, whose name is Jehovah (PSALM 83:18) did not cause all the problems on this Earth, but that he promises to correct things very soon by means of his KINGDOM that we pray for, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will take place on Earth, as it is in Heaven." (MATTHEW 6: 9-11) Because of learning these wonderful Truths, each one in our Family made the choice to dedicate their life to Jehovah God to do his Will, and were Baptized (7 persons). Joe was such a happy, kind and gentle man. We look forward to seeing him again, in good health, in the promised Paradise. Jesus said "Do not be amazed because the hour is coming in which all those in the Memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out" to a Resurrection of life. • Our deepest sympathy is extended to the family, having known Joe for many years, we share many good memories, and enjoyed many good times with Joe. We also share the fine hope of seeing our loved ones again, under God's Kingdom arrangement. John 5: 28-29. Our thoughts are with you, Wally and Louise Joba - Posted by: Wally and Louise Joba, (Friends from the Congregation (east Kildonan)) on: Mar 06, 2014
