JUERGEN BODE The family of Juergen (Jerry) Bode sadly announce his passing on March 4, 2014, after a courageous battle with Cancer. Left to mourn are his wife Carol, his children Sandra and Tom, and his four-legged furry friends, Desi and Lucy. Jerry had numerous extended family members here and in Germany, as well as many friends who will miss him dearly. We would like to thank the staff at St. Boniface Palliative Care Unit for their care and compassion during his short time there; and to Wheeler Funeral Home for their services. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to CancerCare Manitoba, Winnipeg Humane Society, or to the Ewings Cancer Foundation of Canada In Memory of Darah Joseph. Cremation has taken place and in accordance with Jerry's wishes, no formal service will be held. Er Ruhe in Frieden

Dear Carol, Unfortunately we have recently noticed your loss. We didn't know that our brother-in-law and uncle was seriously ill and died in March. You and your family have our heartfelt sympathy. Jerry was such a ray of sunshine to us at goodwill. He would come in all the time with chocolates and goodies for us and share a story or two.
