ROSE DOROSCHUK Rose Doroschuk passed away on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, at the age of 90 years, following a long struggle with Alzheimer's. She was predeceased by her husband Colin in 1964 and her son Bob in 2010. Rose leaves behind her children Carol Portree (Jim), Donna Dolphin (Dennis), her grandchildren Tamara (Glen), Teresa (Tracy), Crystal (Kyle), Nick, Jen (Luc) and Laura; as well as great grandchildren, Lindsay, Grace, Jessica, Brandon, Katherine and Tanner. Interment has taken place and a private family service was held on March 7, 2014, at Glen Eden Memorial Gardens. Friends and family are invited to attend a Celebration of Life on Sunday, March 9, 2014, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at The Royal Canadian Legion, Henderson Highway Branch, 3600 De Vries Avenue. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rose's memory to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba, 10-120 Donald Street, Winnipeg, MB R3C 4G2.
