Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJEANNE VIVIAN WYENBERG March 10, 1920 - March 3, 2014 Peacefully, on March 3, 2014, Jeanne Wyenberg went home to be with her Lord, at the age of 93 years. She is survived by her five sons, Keith (Maja) of Calgary, AB, Don (Molly) of Seattle, WA, Gerry (Sabina), Tim (Sharon) and Eric (Hilda) of Winnipeg, 15 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren, one brother, Bruce (Lenke) of Burlington, ON. She is predeceased by one brother, Keith Watson and two sisters, Shelda and Joanne (Pal). Jeanne was born in Moose Jaw, SK on March 10, 1920, to parents Reuben and Greta Herrod. She was an active member of the Christian Reformed Church in Winnipeg. She was a founding member of the Greater Winnipeg Society for Christian Education (Calvin Christian School), where she received a lifetime honorary membership in 1989. She received her nurses training at Children?s Hospital in Winnipeg and served as an RN on a full and part-time basis for many years. Jeanne was very active in volunteer work, including Middlechurch Home, Meals on Wheels and Children's Hospital Book Market as well as Donwood Manor where she often helped in the feeding of residents. One of her great loves was music and she enjoyed singing in several choirs during her lifetime. A celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 8 at 1:00 p.m. at Covenant Christian Reformed Church, 653 Knowles Ave. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvin Christian School Supplementary Fund, 245 Sutton Ave., Winnipeg, MB R2G 0T1 or Children's Hospital Foundation, CE501-840 Sherbrook, Winnipeg, MB R3A 1S1, or a charity of your choice.
