Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGARY ALAN JONES It is with sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Gary, age 69 years, on February 22, 2014 while vacationing in Hawaii. Gary was born and raised in Winnipeg and was a long time resident of St. Vital. He attended Norberry School, and Glenlawn Collegiate. Gary had a long career at CNR and transferred around western Canada finally settling in Vancouver, BC area. Gary made annual trips back to Winnipeg to be with family and friends. Gary is survived by his loving wife of 48 years, Gladys (Hunt), and his cherished children: Sherri (Dave), Randy, Trevor (Tara) and his four grandchildren, all residing in British Columbia. He will be missed by all his family and friends in Manitoba. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Hazelmere Golf and Country Club, 18150 8 Ave., Surrey, BC V3S 9R9 (604) 538-1818 on Saturday March 15, 2014 from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m.

Sorry to see you go Gary. You were a good man and we had a lot of good times working for CN together. We played a lot of cards and I will always remember the times we golfed together along with Brent Morley. Or the time we went to Manji's for a party. We lost contact when you moved out West but I heard you were doing OK and were having some health problems. Rest in peace Gary and may God bless you. Gary and I worked together in various locations in Canada and USA. I also was pleased to learn Gary and Gladys had a place in Hawaii just across the street from our condo at the Koolina in Kapolei, Honolulu. I was so looking forward to seeing him there this year. Gladys and family, Nancy and I were saddened to hear of Gary's passing, our thoughts and prayers are with you.
