She was a devoted employee of Kraft Foods from 1946 until her retirement in 1984 and treasured the life-long friendships she made there. Cecilia was a long-time member of Windsor Park United Church. She took comfort in her faith and enjoyed the people and activities of the church. Some of her favourite things were Bingo, Christmas Eve at her home surrounded by all of her family and friends, Sunday dinners with her children and grandchildren and watching the sunset with Katie at Grand Marais. The family sincerely thanks the staff of C2 at the Misericordia Health Centre for their compassionate care and support. In keeping with Cecilia's wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration to honour her memory will be held at a later date. You were our inspiration Generous, without hesitation To the point, in conversation You deserve your salvation.

Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I worked with Cec when I started with Kraft in 1978. She was a fantastic person to work with and had great patience in teaching me the skills required. Cec and Sylvia were my two mom's at the office. To those who remember the comptometer, no one was faster! My condolences to the family, I know you will miss her. - Posted by: John Warnica (Co-worker) on: Mar 23, 2014

  • Cecilia was a bright spot for me in the UCW meetings at Windsor Park United Church. She was always pleasant and encouraging with a good sense of humor and such an engaging little giggle. Her homemade scones were delicious. I am so blessed to have known her. - Posted by: Alice Hastings (Friend) on: Mar 09, 2014
