IOLA VICTOR (nee ROSEMAN) Iola Victor, (nee Roseman), in her 88th year, passed peacefully with her niece Maureen and great-niece Samantha at her side. She was predeceased by her daughter Rebecca Ruth and her husband Itzi Victor QC and parents Sam and Bessie Roseman and sister Robin Mintz. Survived by her brothers, Louis (Helen), Maurice and sister Paula (Harold) Diamond and nieces Maureen Diamond, (Andrew Marquess), Susan Grosh (Joel), Judy Levine and nephews, John Diamond (Heather) and Ken Roseman (Lynn). Great-nieces and nephews, Samantha and Daniel Breslauer, Matthew Marquess, Ben, Alex and Jake Diamond, Jamie (Dave Britton) and Daniel Grosh, and great-great-nephew Ethan Britton. Iola was a warm person with many interests and enjoyed being around people. Her personality was always on display with a bright smile when she entered a room. Iola was actively involved with the I.L. Peretz School and National Council of Jewish Women. The Arts were a large part of Iola's life. She had a passion for art and loved to sing. Eskimo art was a particular interest to Iola, as she had special knowledge in that subject. Antiques were also something that Iola was interested in collecting. The family was very important to Iola and it showed in her interest and concern for her nieces, nephews and great-nieces and nephews. Iola was not well for the last couple of years and now she is finally with the people she loved the most, being her husband Itzi, daughter Rebby, as well as her parents and sister. Pallbearers were nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers, Oscar Antel, Bertha Arnold and Rifka Selchen. Thanks to her wonderful caregivers, Levia Magsakay, Donnie Mendoza and Rita Manio. Buried at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery on March 10, 2014.
