SHIRLEY TYRRELL (nee TRAVERS) Shirley Tyrrell, 83, of Elie, Manitoba, passed away Tuesday, March 11, 2014. She was born in Talbotville, Ontario, March 3, 1931. Beloved wife of John E. Tyrrell, mother of seven and grandmother of ten, Shirley will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15 at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church in Headingley, Manitoba. In lieu of flowers, please donate to a charity of one's choice.

  • I am truly sorry to hear about the loss of a wonderful woman. A faithful wife, a loving mother, grandmother and matriarch. I did not get to spend a great deal of time with Mrs Tyrrell but the time I did spend was filled with laughter and joy. She had a great sense of humor and loved a good joke or funny story.   • I am sorry to hear of Shirley's passing. Jack and family will be lost without her energy and caring throughout the years.
