Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOZEFA ANNA LABANOWICZ (nee BOBOWSKA) It is with sadness, and heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved Mama, Babcia and Ciocia on March 10, 2014, with her daughter by her side. Jozefa Anne was born in Chorostkow, Poland, the second of four children to parents Eugieniusz and Maria Bobowski on December 20, 1925. Mum was widowed at age 39 by her husband Edward, and later lost two sons Eugieniusz and Zygmunt. After raising her four children on the family farm, Jozefa arrived in Winnipeg in 1981 to be close to her daughter and grandchildren. Left to cherish her memory are, daughter Halina (John) Wujec, son Leszek (Ela) Labanowicz, 11 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces, and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 18 at 10:00 a.m. with Rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Holy Ghost Roman Catholic Church, 341 Selkirk Ave. officiated by the Oblate Fathers. Jozefa will be laid to rest at Holy Ghost Cemetery. CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

Helen and family...my sincerest condolences on the passing of your beloved mom. She was such a gentle kind soul, even in her illness and that personality shall always live on in Helena. You were so kind to me when my father in the next bed also passed in November. Your visits brightened not only his time at the hospital, but mine as well.
