WONG TAM YEE FONG Peacefully, on Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at St. Boniface Hospital, Wong Tam Yee Fong passed away at the age of 97 with loving family by her side. Yee Fong was born in Taishan, Canton, China. Left to cherish her memory are her sons Bill (Grace), Yin (Kheng), Wing (Lorna), Michael (Monica); daughters Susana (Peter), Lisa (Stephen); grandchildren Wilbur (Susan), Winnifred (Mark), Winston, Wilson, Willie, Winston Jr. (Connie), Stephanie, Samantha, Derek, and great-grandchildren Jules, Jake, Noel and Cheston. Yee Fong came to Canada in 1977. Her favourite activities include traveling and playing mahjong. A service to celebrate Yee Fong's life will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home and Cemetery, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. A viewing will be held a half hour before the service: 9:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Following the service, Yee will rest in peace for eternity in Waverly Memorial Gardens, 1501 Waverly Street. We would like to thank the wonderful 3rd floor staff of Beacon Hill Lodge on Fort Street for their stupendously awesome care. Thank you so much Mary, Pam, Dao, Leona, Alma, Christina, Gil, Analyn, Wilma, Sally, Evelyn, Adel and all other support staff for everything. We would also like to thank all the staff in St. Boniface's 6E ward for their care and compassion during the short time she spent there.
