Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARJORIE MAY ROBINSON 1927 - 2014 Marjorie May (Shears) (Hogan) Robinson, wife of the late Douglas Hogan and Reginald Robinson, passed away on March 5, 2014 at the Saint John Regional Hospital. Born on July 12, 1927 in Willow Grove, she was a daughter of the late Wilfred and Lavinia (McIntyre) Shears. Marjorie worked in dietary at the Saint John General Hospital before opening Margie's Inn in Cambridge-Narrows. Marjorie is survived by her three children, Marilyn Hogan-Sims of Winnipeg, Michael Hogan (Sabine) of Edmonton and Kevin Hogan (Tammy) of Saint John; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Vona Hope (Randolph) and Winnifred MacDonald (Roy), both of Saint John and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Besides her first and second husbands and her parents, she was predeceased by nine brothers and nine sisters. Arrangements are under the care and direction of Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, 634-7424. At Marjorie's request, there will be no visitation, however friends and family are invited to a memorial service on Monday, March 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 57 Magazine Street, Saint John, with a reception to follow. Interment will take place at Ocean View Memorial Gardens at a later date. Remembrance to a charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
