STEVE HORNYAK After a long battle with cancer, Steve passed away with family by his side on Monday, March 10, 2014 at the age of 83 years. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife Roza; daughter Erika (Marius); son Istvan (Ida), his four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren residing in Hungary where Steve was born. He is also remembered by his brother John and family in Ontario. The family wishes to thank Dr. Salem and health care staff at Victoria General Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Steve may be made to the Victoria General Hospital Foundation - Miracle Garden. Funeral mass 10:00 a.m., Monday, March 17, 2014 at St. Anthony of Padua Hungarian Roman Catholic Church, 365 Burnell Street, Winnipeg, Manitoba, followed by a private family interment at Brookside Cemetery.
