  • Uncle Chuck... We're going to miss you immensely! You were the last of my mom & dad's siblings and you hold a special place in our hearts! I still recall your frequent visits back to Brandon when we were kids! It was such a blessing to be with our cousins when you visited in the 60s... I still recall the first time that I tasted pizza made by Aunt Anne! You'd think we were in the Ozarks... we'd never even heard of it! And we were always mesmerized when you removed your glass eye! Freaked my younger brother Greg out!!! I also recall your strength... incredible for an ole guy in his 60s! Hard to believe I'm there now!! Yet you were the kindest & gentlest uncle I knew. It was such a blessing in 2001 when we visited you in RI... to hear the story of how you came to realize that gentleness! And it was a privilege to read your tribute to my mom (Martha) at her funeral in 2003. I learned so much about you that I didn't know about! You were always so encouraging and such a blessing when you phoned from Providence every year, often a couple of times. We're gonna miss you dearly... even though we've been separated by miles for ages. We hope that somehow we'll be able to get together with your kids again to reminisce of past days... You will always be in our hearts! - Gord & Ruth Stock / Rocky Mountain House, Alberta - - Posted by: Gordon Stock (Nephew... My Mom was Uncle Chuck's brother) on: Mar 22, 2014
