Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I had lived with my father until the year before his passing and I can say he was an extremely gentle and caring father. Tough love sometimes but mostly very loving. He cared more about my future than his own and concentrated through my life to steer me in the right direction and for that I am very thankful to have spent my life having him as my dad. 2 years later and I still think of him everyday and try to not dwell on the time I chose not to hangout with him. He was the smartest, most reliable and trustworthy person I had ever met. You will always be in my heart and on my mind. Love you dad - Posted by: John (Son) on: Dec 19, 2016

  • As my father he was a great patient man very analytical. He was a good listener and very open to ideas. He's has taught me that and showed me more on how to be a man, husband, and father. I think of him every day, it's only been three months . I miss you old man more then this world will ever know. - Posted by: Jordan (Son) on: Jun 26, 2014

  • I am a pensioner in Kamloops. I met Ernie while he was visiting my neighbours Don and Donna Holly. It was 90-100 degrees and my central air conditioning broke. Ernie came over and fixed it for $25. for a small part. He spent most of the the day working on it and would only accept a sandwich and beer. In my long life, I have not met anyone like that before. I will miss Ernie very much. - Posted by: Dot McCurdy (New Friend) on: Mar 18, 2014
