  • I'll remember Dave for his quiet but dry humor, his genuine interest in his customer's needs, and his willingness to go the extra mile for his customers, whether it be letting us demo an item, giving us a break on price for personal purchases, and attending our fundraising events on his own time. • So sad to hear about Dave. He was one of my favourite bosses. I knew Dave from 1978 to 1988 when he hired me at Safety Supply. He was a fair, caring and gentle man. He always had a smile on his face. I remember him for his jokes, and his profound advice and was always easy to talk to. Condolences to his family, especially Jeff and Bernie and families. RIP David. • I will miss drying dishes at the Lake with David, the stories he told me, and his dry sense of humor. It was noticible to all how great was his love for his grand-daughter and what joy she brought to him. Baba told me he teased her about being his girlfriend and always offered to take her to Southbeach. They had a special connection. My family and I will miss him. - Posted by: SANDRA MARTIN (IN-LAW) on: Mar 22, 2014
