RAFAEL BELTRAN Rafael Beltrán, 78, of Malaga, Spain died on February 20, 2014. Rafael was born on March 14, 1935 in Malaga, Spain. There he met and married Araceli, the love of his life for 62 years. In 1966, Rafael moved to Winnipeg with his wife and children. He loved his craft as a Tool and Die maker and in 1973 founded Beltran Machine Shop. Over 20 years ago, Rafael and Araceli decided to retire early and moved to La Cala del Moral, Spain to enjoy the rest of their lives, but returned to Winnipeg on a regular basis to be with family and friends. Rafael enjoyed life and took every moment to celebrate. He was a handy man and would always do what he could for others without thinking twice. He loved to laugh, tell jokes and liked to share a glass of red wine and good food with friends and family. He will be lovingly remembered and cherished by his wife Araceli Beltran; sister: Josefa Beltran (Luis) children: Carmen Pinette (Dale), Cielo Beltran (Robert), Francisco Beltran, Cristina Beltran (Manolo); niece: Pilar Morin (Marcel); grandchildren: Linda Saunders, Marianne Jackson, Jennifer Chopp (Steve), Lucia Martinez Beltran; great-grandchildren: Joshua, Morgan, Kathleen, Parker, Mason, Kailum. Also numerous friends and extended family both in Canada and in Spain. Rest in Peace, you will be greatly missed. Descansa en paz, estaras siempre en nuestro corazon y pensamientos.
