Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryMARY KOPEC (nee ZAIKOW) November 5, 1930 - March 22, 2014 It is with great sadness that our family announces the passing of our dear mom, baba, great-baba and friend. On March 22, 2014, after a courageous battle with COPD, Mary passed peacefully with her family by her side. Left to cherish with many memories are her children, Perry (Laura), Lori (Lindsay), Cory (Lisa) and Colleen (Larry) and her grand-children Stephanie (Kelly), Teigan, Nicole (Paul), Lauren, Hayley and Jordan, great- granddaughter Tatum, many nieces and nephew. Mary was predeceased by her loving husband Peter, her five brothers and one sister. Mary was energetic and fun-loving. She was an inspiration to all of us and touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. Mary had a relentless zest for life and a sense of humour that brought laughter to everyone she met. Cremation has taken place and a service to celebrate Mary's life will be held on Saturday, March 29 at 1:00 p.m. at Cropo Funeral Chapel, 1442 Main Street. Private interment will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lung Association of Manitoba. Forever loved CROPO FUNERAL CHAPEL 204-586-8044

Dear Lori and the Kopec family, Our sincere condolences to you on the loss of your beloved Mother Mary. I saw Mary at Tatum's baby shower only a few months ago and she was a beaming great grandmother. To Lori and your entire family I saw mother Mary at Tatum's shower and marvelled at how well she was doing. She looked great and was very mobile. What a blessing to have such a rich and full life into your early 80's! Her beautiful family is a testament to the life her and Peter built together. You are a very beautiful family and may you find comfort and peace in the memories you share. We will have fond memories of the few times we shared with your Mom and family because of our friendship.
