ESTELLE RAE REYNOLDS Peacefully and with Family at her side, Estelle Rachel (Rae) Reynolds, aged 98, formerly of Vasa Lund Estates, Winnipeg, passed away on Saturday March 22, 2014 in Oakville, Ontario. Rae was predeceased in 2012 by her Husband Durwood Graham aged 91 and by her four sisters and two brothers. She will be greatly missed by her only son Graham, wife Mary, her three Grandchildren Paige, Nicole and Clayton and nieces and nephews. Born in Gimli Manitoba, Rae relocated to Winnipeg, working at various jobs and always delighting in meeting and talking to people, with a genuine ability to make anyone feel welcome. A born saleswoman, she would later succeed in retail sales at Holt Renfrew, The Bay, and Eatons. She met the love of her life on a blind date in 1940 and two years later Graham and Rae were married on St. Patrick's Day 1942, going on to enjoy 70 years of marriage. Rae enjoyed a long and full life, loving designer clothes, gourmet cooking, entertaining her many friends and extensive foreign travel with Graham. She enjoyed dancing, dinner theatre and all types of music, especially melodic tenors. Rae was a member of the T.C.A. retirement club, the Air Canada Pionairs, and subscriber to the Manitoba Theatre Centre, as well as attending many theatre productions in Toronto. She was full of life until the end, and the staff of West Oak Village delighted in her cheeky wit and cheerful disposition. The Family expresses our heartfelt thanks to the wonderful caring staff at Revera Beacon Hill and Revera West Oak Village.
