BELVA SHAFF It is with great sadness we announce the sudden passing of Belva Shaff (nee Cham), 70 years old, on Monday March 24, 2014 at the Grace Hospital. She will be missed by sons Martin, Elliot, Avram and Shawn; brother Archie; grandchildren Alex, Braden and Keeley; great-grandchild Isabella. She was born May 30, 1943 in Winnipeg. Belva touched the lives of many people over the years and will be missed by all her friends. She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Ralph, who passed away July 28, 2009. Her gentle kindness and the ability to make friends in seconds was something to see. Her pickles were a tradition of summer. Her Tia Marias were nicely spiked. She loved to bowl every week with the Ladies League. She was the social co-ordinator planning and arranging right to the end. She got to know new relatives in New York and Sao Paolo. Graveside service was held Friday. March 28, 2014 at Hebrew Sick Cemetery.
