BERT CLARENCE NEPINAK 1949 - 2014 After a lengthy illness, Bert Nepinak passed away at the Health Sciences Centre on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at the age of 64. Bert was a husband, father, grandfather (24), great-grandfather (four), brother, and uncle. Bert will be fondly remembered for the love of his family and the special smile he had for everyone he knew. Bert worked for many years for Motor Coach Industries until he got too sick to work. He was a good provider and a hard worker. Besides his loving wife Joyce, he is survived by his children Gail, Vera, Daniel (Sonny Boy), Vanessa, Candace and Yvette (Dee-Dee). He leaves to mourn and cherish his memory his brother Marcel, sisters, Cecile of Calgary, Lucy and Darlene (Ed) of Winnipeg. His dearest Uncle Archie Nepinak. He is also survived by brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law. Bert will be sadly missed by numerous nieces and nephews along with relatives and good friends. He was predeceased by our loving mother, Marie Louise (1996) and Dad, Daniel (1976). His precious child Tanya (2011) and brother-in-law Ovide (2014). His brothers Roger, Larry, Edward and sister Yvonne, along with sisters-in-law Gladys and Laura. The family would like to thank the doctors and nurses from D4 at the Health Sciences Centre for the care and support given to our dearest loved one especially during his last days. Prayers will be at Aboriginal Funeral Home, 724 Selkirk Ave. on Monday, March 31, 2014 at 7:00 p.m. Mass will be Tuesday, April 1, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Kateri Tekakwitha Parish, 794 Ellice Ave., with Fr. Bastin officiating for family, relatives and friends. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Billy Nepinak, Kyle Nepinak, Joe Nepinak, William Nepinak, Cody Nepinak and Michael Jack.
