GEORGE EDWARD (TED) DAVIES December, 1929 - March, 2014 Ted passed away peacefully on March 14, 2014 at the age of 84. Born in Ottawa, he spent most of his life in Winnipeg where he worked as a Director / Counsellor at Red River Community College. Since 1992, Ted has enjoyed his retirement in British Columbia with time spent in Coquitlam, Vancouver Island and South Surrey. Ted was predeceased by his sister Barbara, his brother Peter, and his beloved friend Sammy. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife Sandra, his sons Jonathan (Carolyn), Joshua (Chanie), granddaughters Reese and Kaedyn, his brother John (Helene), and his family in Winnipeg. A celebration of Ted's life will be held on Saturday, April 5 at 1:00 p.m. at First United Church in White Rock, BC.

  • Worked with Ted (Moose) at Red River in the Counselling Office. Ted was a thoughtful guy...a birthday card for some 25+ years after I left RRCC. My birthday now just won't be the same.   • Ted has been a dear and much loved friend for the past 45 years.He was a wonderful person,incredibly wise,generous and caring.We shared all our life experiences,marriage,children,dogs and remained very close in spite of the distance between us.We had the pleasure of being the witnesses when Ted and Sandra married,shared numerous wonderful meals at our homes and cottages and enjoyed our children together.Ted was a great cook and charming host.We loved Ted and will miss him very much.
