The dearest Mother and sweetest friend One of the best whom God could lend Mum was loving, gentle, thoughtful and true Always willing a kind act to do It is not the tears at the moment shed That tell how beloved is the soul that has fled; But tears through many a long night wept And loving remembrance fondly kept. Mum you are sadly missed and not forgotten. It broke my heart to lose you; But you didn't leave alone. A part of me went with you. Now at peace, and just sleeping, Only to be reunited one day, I love you dearly Mum. Son Ken
