JEAN JABLONSKI Grandma J It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear mother, mother-in-law, grandma, aunt and friend, Jean Jablonski (nee Forman), on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at the Seven Oaks Hospital in Winnipeg at the age of 96 years. Mom will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Louise (Bill) of Selkirk, MB; daughter-in-law Gerri; grandchildren Terri, Wendy, Daniel, Dianna and Laurie. She will also be missed by her close friends Helen Hiebert, the girls from Birthday Club and her Bingo friends. Jean was predeceased by her husband John on March 6, 1990, and her son Lawrence on August 17, 2006. She was also predeceased by her parents Joseph and Mary Forman; brothers Mike, John, Walter, Frank, Stan, and her sister Ann Wasio. Jean is also survived by many extended family members and friends, and very well known as Grandma J. Prayers will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at 6:30 p.m. in the Gilbart Funeral Chapel, Selkirk, MB. Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 4, 2014 at 12:00 p.m. at the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church, 269 Jemima St., Selkirk, MB. Pallbearers will be Jeff Foreman, Ken Forman, Matthew Freeman, Jason Forman, Kyle Kirkness and Kelly Kirkness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke Foundation, or to a charity of your choice in memory of Jean.
