Condolences & Memories (7 entries)

  • I was so sad to recently hear of Tim's passing. I recruited Tim into the office products industry as an employment consultant in Edmonton in the mid-nineties. Tim was my first recruit in that new industry for me. We has mutual interests in that he tried out for the Saskatchewan Roughriders football team as a punter, and they are my favorite team. I went on to find employment for hundreds of people but never forgot Tim as he was such an engaging and down to earth guy, and he loved Arlene very much. He was going to take a job with Reebok, calling on running shoe stores, but I convinced him his career path would be better with Today's Business Machines. It appears him and Arlene made the right decision as I am sure they enjoyed a great life in Florida. I am sure after all these years he is still missed by many of his friends and co-workers, and for sure his family. - Posted by: Chris Coult (Business Associate) on: Nov 30, 2020

  • Tim was not only my boss but an amazing guy whom I respected. So shocked to have just heard he has passed. I remember fondly the golf shoes he wore daily and his sweet boyish smile. He gave me his cell phone prior to leaving staples in mississauga and heading to usa. Rest in peace Tim. So sad and heartbroken. My deepest condolences to his wife and family. - Posted by: alexandra silveira (tim's.exec.asst.at.staples) on: Aug 14, 2014

  • Sorry to hear of Tim's sudden passing. My teenage years are filled with find memories of football games, dances, and ski dooing in grand Center. He was a kind man with many dreams - Posted by: Lorna Kravontka (Anderson) (Friend) on: Apr 29, 2014

  • My heart is a little sadder today on hearing about Tim's passing. I have such great memories being with the Pipers. Sleep overs at Timmy's, being taken to Lake of the Woods with the family. Shelly rememeber those toasted cheese, with tomato sandwiches your Mom used to make? I had the best swimming instructor and wrestling coach in the world, except when Dave would grab my french knee and squeeze, ha, ha, (all great memories). It's funny I just downloaded one of Tim's and my favorite song last week, (there coming to take me away to the funny farm, where things are gay, ha, hee,). We were about ten. I am a better person for being part of the Piper family. My heartfelt condolences to those who loved and lost Tim, especially Mr. Piper and Shelly.
