JACOB HILDEBRAND June 11, 1922 April 3, 2014 Peacefully on Thursday, April 3, 2014 Jake went to his eternal rest. Left to lovingly remember Jake are his wife, Molly; sons Dave (Dorothy) Irvin; stepdaughter Pat; one sister Mary; grandchildren; great- grandchildren; and many friends. He was predeceased by his wife Helen; parents Maria and Isaac Bergen; son John; brothers John, Dave; and sister Helen. Jake was born in the R.M. of Stanley on June 11, 1922. He married Helen Giesbrecht on August 22, 1948. She passed away in 1994. He later married Molly Czerwinski on July 6, 1996. Jake will be remembered for his gentle, loving ways and his good sense of humour. He loved to play the guitar and other instruments. He was a clock collector and loved the flea markets but most of all he loved his cars. On Friday, April 11, 2014 Jacob's Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. in Lutheran Church of the Cross, 560 Arlington Street. We would like to give a special thanks to Home Care, Grace Hospital staff and staff at Charleswood Care Centre and Betty Hatter. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Lutheran Church of the Cross.   • We first met Uncle Jake when he married Aunty Molly. After that they visited us in Tuelon. Years later we moved to Wpg, in the same block as them. We were 2 doors away. Every morning he would bring the newspaper..Fridays he always liked to go to Smitty's for supper with my late wife + I.. I have fond memories of him. Loved + sadly missed.
