MARION MOGLOVE (nee GUSMAN) With profound sadness the family of Marion Moglove announce, following a prolonged illness, her passing on March 26, 2014. Marion was born in Estevan, SK on January 13, 1928. She moved to Winnipeg at a young age, growing up on Alfred Avenue. She lived in Winnipeg for the rest of her life, with the exception of a six-year period in Salt Lake City, Utah. Marion was married to Monte Moglove, her best friend and partner in life for 48 years. Their love knew no bounds and together they had a romance reminiscent of fairy tales. They shared a love of family, travel and each other. His untimely passing in 1995 was devastating to Marion. However, she impressively reinvented herself and showed great inner strength. Monte remained a part of her until her death. Marion will be lovingly remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She leaves to mourn her daughters Robyn Diamond and her husband Harvey; Jo-Ann Chapman and her husband Arthur, grandchildren Richard and Michael Diamond, and Shari Chapman; her siblings Pris Guberman and Jack Gusman and his wife Dale. She shared a special bond with her many nieces and nephews, cousins and friends, including dear friend Ruth Shenback. She will be missed by all she touched, but lovingly remembered for her kindness, wisdom and generosity. Marion had a special relationship with her sister, Millie Drabinsky who passed away earlier this year. Funeral services were held on March 28 at Etz Chayim Synagogue with interment at Shaarey Zedek Cemetery, where she will rest once again with her beloved Monte (Moge), and mother Rose Gusman. Pallbearers were Arthur Chapman, Harvey Diamond, Michael Diamond, Richard Diamond, Joel Donen and Israel Ludwig. The family would like to thank Ampi Lagus and the staff of Fred Douglas Lodge, who provided care, compassion and love to Marion in the difficult final years. In Marion's memory donations to The Alzheimer Society (http://www.alzheimer.ca) would be greatly appreciated by the family. Marion enriched the lives of those close to her - the sorrow of her passing is lessened by the gift of her life.
