ELEANOR AUDRAE BRAZIL (nee LYTLE) Peacefully, after a long and courageous journey with the debilitating effects of COPD and Osteoarthritis, Eleanor slipped from this world on Monday, March 24, 2014. Among her family and friends left to mourn are sister-in-law Amy Lytle, niece Elizabeth Hoepner, nephew Les Lytle (Eileen), cousin Mary Paul (John), long-time best friend and travelling companion, Carol Jackson, and the Kitson family. She was predeceased by her parents Ada and Ernest Lytle, her brother James Lytle, and her sister and brother-in-law Barbara Merle Lunn and John Lunn. Eleanor was born in Portage la Prairie and raised in Winnipeg, MB. Her clerical career spanned both the life insurance and legal fields. She enjoyed many car trips to Western Canada, both with her beloved mother Ada and later with her friend Carol. Her dream was to retire in Victoria, BC and that dream became reality in 1990. She spent her time in Victoria exploring every nook and cranny and took great pleasure in playing tour guide to friends and relatives when they came to visit "her island". At Eleanor's request there will be no funeral service and a private interment in the family plot will take place at a later date at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Winnipeg, MB. Should friends so desire, donations can be made in her memory to the Winnipeg Humane Society, 45 Hurst Way, Winnipeg, MB R3T 0R3.
