Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryJOHN KNOR March 9, 1932 - March 29, 2014 Suddenly, on Saturday, March 29, John Knor, 82 years, of Teulon, MB passed away. He is survived by his sons Randall and Robert of Winnipeg, Kelly (Lana) and grandsons Kelvyn and Kevin of Teulon; brothers Bill and Leo (Mary); sisters Loni, Velma (Walter), Elsie, Agnes (John) and Grace. He was predeceased by his wife Helen in September, 2012 and a sister Anna, brothers Ben, Matt and Alex. John was born in Whitelaw, AB. In his early years he worked at Zavisha's Sawmill and the NAR in Alberta. He moved to Winnipeg and married Helen in 1962. He settled down in Komarno, MB in 1969 and raised three children. John and Helen retired to Teulon in 2012. John worked in construction and worked on projects such as the Richardson Building, Labbatt Brewery, Teulon Hospital, Teulon Collegiate and numerous others. In 1984 he started working for CP Rail, where he travelled all over Western Canada from job site to job site. A memorial service will be held at MacKenzie Funeral Chapel in Teulon at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2014. Pastor Dan Shmelinski officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made at Gateway Manor in Teulon.
