Alvina I was informed yesterday by Dan, that Arthur had passed recently, my condolences to you and your family. I'd known Art from the 1980's, if memory serves, as Pascol's/ Portship's CWB certification Engineer. He presented himself as a knowledgeable, skillful and very helpful person to Pascol on many welding related / detail oriented projects and prepared and certified many welding processes for Pascol as the need required, all to suit CWB and project requirements. Apart from this technical skill and ability, Art was a genuine person, a family man foremost, and, as someone previously posted, a guy with a twinkle in his eye, with a story to tell, and always interested in your own personal life, a great listener. I will miss him, as will many others. - Posted by: Rod Spicer (Business Client) on: Jun 19, 2014

I have known Art for about two decades. He engineered lots of our projects. He was like a friend, but very professional when it came to engineering. He will be saddly missed. - Posted by: Malcolm Dean (Client) on: Apr 10, 2014

Art was one of the good guys, and a steadying influence on his younger engineering classmates. Sorry to lose another one, it makes the rest of us nervous. Condolences to his family. - Posted by: Glenn Peckover (Engineering classmate) on: Apr 08, 2014

We are heartbroken for Art's family. Neither one of us ever knew such a kind, thoughtful, generous, loving and Christian person in our lives. Although he is in God's arms, the world lost a wonderful person, who made a difference in anyone's life when they crossed paths. God Bless the Pankratz family. We will keep you in our prayers. - Posted by: Paul & Helen Williams (Friends) on: Apr 08, 2014

I knew Art years ago while I was working in the same building as Pile Foundations was located. He always had a smile, always so positive. That was many years ago, and it brings me joy to know he had so many more years after we lost contact. He had a twinkle in his eye that made everyone smile! My thoughts are with his family. - Posted by: Marleen () on: Apr 08, 2014
