She was predeceased by her husband Vernal Fowler in April 1991. Lucy is survived by daughter Shireen Stokes (Jim), son Trevor Fowler (Thelma), her sister Helen Barr, brothers George Williams (Matilda), Alwyn Williams, and her seven grandchildren Ryan, Rayna, Jeremy, September, Trevor, Neo and Moletwa.
