Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemorySYLVIA GRACE BASSON July 29, 1932 - April 5, 2014 Sylvia Grace Basson passed away peacefully, with her husband Tony by her side, on Saturday, April 5, 2014. Left to cherish her memory are her husband Anthony Basson, of 61 years; her children: Lynne (Richard) Boxall, Neil Basson (Cathy Brosowsky) and Amanda Basson; her grandchildren: Leigh (Collette) Boxall, Claire (Raymond) Girardin, Debbie Desrosiers, Hunter and Mackenzie Basson, Jessica, Joshua, and Justin Stevens; her great-grandchildren: Karley (Jason), Brittany (Serge), Mathew, Brianne, Taran and Abbey; and her great-great-grandchildren: Paige and Chase. Sylvia spent the past four and one half years in the care of the Bethesda Care Home. Thank you to all of the staff for their loving care of Sylvia. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 150 Penfeld Drive, Steinbach, MB. If friends so desire, donations in memory of Sylvia may be made to the Alzheimer Society of Manitoba or to a charity of one's choice. Sylvia will be dearly missed. Such a happy and wonderful woman. Will always remember the family gatherings we attended with her there. And her spring and summer gardens will be dearly missed. RIP Sylvia, it was an honor to know you. Heaven has gained a wonderful person and amazing gardener. My thoughts are with you and your family Tony.
