ESME MARGARET SUDEYKO It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden, but peaceful, passing of Esme Margaret Sudeyko (Lee) on Monday, April 7, 2014 at the Grace General Hospital. Mourning her death are her husband Glen, brothers Dudley and Bud (Anne) Lee, sister-in-law Irene Lee, other family and friends. She was predeceased by parents Fredrick Ernest and Eileen Lee, Lloyd Lee, Ida and Ina Lee, nieces Elizabeth Neufeld (Lee) and Yvonne Reilly (Lee), nephews Bryan and Keith Lee, great-nephews Steven Reilly and Daniel Dorward, and great-niece Brynn Lee. Esme was born in Marchwell, SK on April 15, 1935 and grew up in Basswood, MB. She later resided in Winnipeg except for the years she cared for her dad in Neepawa. She was especially close to her niece Donna (Steve) Friesen and babysat her kids Darren, Danny and Dana for several years. In her younger years Esme enjoyed bowling. She loved to play bingo and she will be sadly missed by the "bingo group" at Westwood Estates. Thank you to the paramedics, Grace Hospital ER staff, and Major Gordon Jarvis for your excellent care and compassion. We will be celebrating Esme's life on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at the Grace General Hospital Chapel with Major Gordon Jarvis officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Esme's memory to The Daniel Lee Dorward Compassionate Fund for Sick Kids.
