LEONARD SETTEE Leonard Settee, of Cranberry Portage, Manitoba. It is with deep sadness, we announce the sudden passing of Leonard Settee at the Health Sciences Centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba on Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at the age of 68. Leonard is predeceased by his mother, Blanche, and grandparents Thomas and Angeline. Leonard is lovingly remembered by his daughters Lisa and Karen (Rich), sister Denise, grandchildren Reece, Brian, and Eadith, numerous nieces and nephews, and special friend Bertha. Leonard was born in The Pas, Manitoba in 1946. He retired from Parks Canada in 2010. Leonard enjoyed being out in nature and practiced traditional northern fur trapping. He enjoyed taking people out fishing in his boat and showing them the beautiful lakes. A wake will be held at the Cranberry Portage Legion Hall, on Monday, April 21, 2014. Funeral service will be held at the Cranberry Portage Frontier School Gymnasium at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22, 2014. Interment to follow at Cranberry Portage Cemetery. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the professional and compassionate staff of the Health Sciences Centre Medical Intensive Care Unit. Some day when my Lord will come, And called to meet Him I'll be blest, He then will say to me, "Well done," And I shall enter into rest.
