LARRY JAMES BAZILEWICH March 12, 1957 - April 12, 2014 It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Larry James Bazilewich on April 12, 2014 after a very brief battle with cancer. He will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his wife Karen, sons Trevor, Terence, and stepson Michael (Alana), mother Helen, sister Shirley Houlahan, brothers Peter (Sandra) and Henry (Tina) and brother-in-law Jim Harty (Jane), sisters-in-law Susan Auld (Bob) and Brenda Gleeson (Frank) by his aunts, many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Larry was predeceased by his father John (1987) and brother-in-law, Gerald Houlahan (2006). Larry was a loving husband and devoted father and was very generous with his time and resources helping others. Larry grew up and completed his education at Poplarfield Collegiate, Manitoba. He enjoyed 37 years with the Canadian National Railway being stationed in different parts of Manitoba and Ontario, residing in Sioux Lookout for the past seven years. Larry loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, fishing, boating and many more outdoor activities. Thanks to the doctors, nurses and staff at the Thunder Bay Regional Health Sciences Centre for their care. A special thanks to Dr. McCluskey and Dr. Gwynn for their unwavering care and compassion. In accordance with Larry's wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service and private family interment will occur at a later date. • Very shocking and sad to hear the news of Larry's passing. Larry and I had gone to school together a number of years ago. As teenagers we shared a lot of fun times. I remember like yesterday when Larry came to my place (out at the farm) and not only asked how things were going, but also congratulated me on my graduation from high school. Our hearts and prayers are with the family during this very difficult time. Although you are gone, you're not forgotten. - Posted by: Ralph Tanchak (Old school friend) on: Apr 20, 2014
