Anica was the radiologist for the Roseau County Hospital in Minnesota. Ralph was a new MD there and I was a novice RN. Anica promoted our romantic relationship, which, necessarily had to be clandestine to keep professionalism intact. Eventually it did lead to our marriage in 1976 and we then had lots of stories about our families to share with one another. She and Jovan helped us whenever we flew overseas from Winnipeg and opened their home to us and our manic brood of three indefatigable children when we would come up to visit the zoo. Gracious....she and Jovan were always so good and gracious to us! We still shake our head that such busy, important people would ever find time for us! God bless the memory of Anica! ~ Kathryn Herseth - Posted by: Ralph and Kathryn Herseth (colleagues and friends) on: May 10, 2014

Carolyn and I have happy memories of Anica and Jovan. Anica was a warm and friendly person and we especially appreciated how she helped us when we moved to Geneva in 1972 - while Jovan was on sabbatical there. Sadly, we have lost touch over the years. We send our condolences to Jovan, Goran and Vera and their families. Gordon and Carolyn Greeniaus - Posted by: Gordon Greeniaus (Graduate Student of Jovan) on: Apr 23, 2014
