Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryGERARD PERRAULT (Veteran, Second World War) At the age of 91, Gerard passed away peacefully on April 19, 2014. He was born in St. Laurent Manitoba, on March 1, 1923. He was predeceased by his wife, Therese, in 1988 as well as parents Joseph and Marie-Anne, sisters Aurise (Patrick) Connelly, Antoinette (David) Coutu, Marie-Anna (Napoleon) Langelier, brothers Romuald, Ambroise, Ubald (Christina), brother-in-law Arthur Bruce, as well as his half brothers and half sister. He is survived by his daughter Janice and Paul Yakymow, granddaughter Jessica, sister Jeanne Bruce and sister-in-law Anna Marie Kerbrat, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He served in the Second World War from 1942 and was honorably discharged on April 26, 1946. He was a painter by trade until his retirement. He will be sadly missed by his loved ones and friends. A special thanks to his nieces Irene Connelly and Pat Ledieu for their kindness and care to Dad during his illness. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 25, 2014, at Kateri Teekakwitha Parish, 794 Ellice Ave., with viewing at 10:30 a.m. Rev. Father Dominique officiating. A luncheon will follow in the church hall with interment at Brookside Cemetery. Pallbearers will be his nephews Charles Connelly, Robert Perrault, Norbert Langelier, Ronald Bruce, Rodney Chartrand and Marc Ledieu. 204-774-7474
