Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • I came across the obituary accidently - saw the picture and said..... that's Aunt Dot! Although she was not my aunt, it was either that or Mrs. Johnson and she deserved "aunt". Both she and her husband Bill were part of my life as a teenager - good friends to my parents. It makes me feel nostalgic. I'm so pleased she had a long and happy life and was blessed with a whole bunch of grand kids and great grand kids. I pass on my condolences to those left behind. Remember her with a smile and a laugh - I'm sure that is what she would want. - Posted by: Chris-Ada MacTavish (Friend from long, long ago.) on: Oct 18, 2016

  • Mrs. Johnson's lovely smile and cheerful welcoming Hello will always be a lovely memory. Her cup of Tetley tea she made me was the best and always think of her now when I drink Tetley tea. Her wit and funny cliches shine through her daughter and will always be remembered. - Posted by: Linda Bonneteau (A friend of daughter Brenda) on: Jun 17, 2014

  • Dorothy recently joined our weekly sing-alongs with the other residents of South Country Village Havenview in Medicine Hat. She knew the words to almost every song we played and sang with gusto especially "Take Me Out To The Ballgame" and "Goin' Back To Whur I Come From". We will miss Dorothy's singing, humour, and ready smile. Goodbye to a good friend and lovely person.
