NATALIE ( NATASHA) KORTIKOW August 3, 1923 - April 9, 2014 Natalie passed quietly and peacefully in her sleep at the Holy Family Nursing Home. Born in Doboj, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Natalie immigrated with her family to Winnipeg in 1948. She was predeceased by her husband, Jurij Kortikow, her sisters, Lucy Protopopow of Erie, Pa., Vera Usenko of Winnipeg, and her mother, Paraskeva Toptunow. Natalie worked for many years at Neiman Furs, where she developed lifelong friendships. She leaves behind her daughter, Katherine Kortikow of Roberts Creek, BC, her grandson, Max Elliot Kortikow Sample of Vancouver, BC and three nephews (Ohio, Pennsylvania and the Czech Republic). Thank you to all the nurses and staff at Holy Family and to Claude Berard, whose unwavering friendship sustained her over the years. Natalie will always be remembered for her generosity and especially, her love of nature. Travel well Mum
