EDWIN LAWRENCE HARDEN Ed was born in Wainwright, Alberta on September 10, 1922. He served with the Canadian Army during the Second World War as a member of the Princess Patricia's. After the war he became employed at WT Raleigh Ltd. for over 30 years until they relocated out of Winnipeg. Then he went to work for Unicity Mall as a grounds keeper upon its opening where he stayed until his retirement at 70. During his life he raised three children, Vincent, Neil (Maria) and Cora Lou (Greg). He has three grandchildren; Kelly (Tom), Jack and Ian (Carrie). He also has six great-grandchildren; Jenna, Logan, Carter, Makayla, Nicholas and Nevaeh. All of whom he is survived by as well as his sister, Jeanette Smyth. Ed was an avid gardener and loved growing violets. He truly enjoyed his cottage time at Laclu, Ontario. He enjoyed watching sports either on TV or just watching the kids play at the local baseball diamond. No better person could be found. He was a great father, friend and role model. He will be sorely missed and loved by all always. We would like to thank the whole team at Holy Family Personal Care Home for their loving tender care of Edwin. Cremation has taken place. No service is being held at this time. "You're my hero Daddy" 204-586-8044
