JOSEPH ADRIEN PAUL DUFRESNE Joseph Dufresne, beloved husband of Viola, father of Joretta, grandfather of Nicole and Rene, and great-grandfather of Dallas, passed away on February 20, 2014. Funeral service will be held at St. Marguerite de Bourgeois Roman Catholic Church, 2235 Silver Avenue off Whytewold Road, Saturday May 10, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Private interment at a later date.

JOSEPH ADRIEN PAUL DUFRESNE Joseph Dufresne, beloved husband of Viola, father of Joretta, grandfather of Nicole and Rene, and great-grandfather of Dallas, passed away peacefully on February 20, 2014. Joseph was born in Lorette, MB in 1928. He lived there until moving, in 1945, to the St. Francois Xavier area where he became a wheat farmer. As well, he spent 26 years driving the local school bus accident-free. After retiring in 1987, Vye and Joe enjoyed travelling to faraway places with highlights being Rome and the Holy Land. Winters were spent in the southern United States, Mexico and Portugal. In the summers Joe enjoyed golfing, gardening and, with the grandchildren, camping. He will be sadly missed by his brother Lucien (Antoinette), his sister Agnes Precourt, sisters-in-law Joan, Pauline, Angelle, Ilene Cecile Nott, and Laura Hanna, also numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be held at St. Marguerite de Bourgeois Roman Catholic Church, 2235 Silver Avenue off Whytewold Road, Saturday May 10, 2014, at 1:00 p.m. Private interment at a later date.
