JEAN MABON Peacefully at the Notre Dame Foyer on Monday, May 12, 2014, Mr. Jean Mabon of Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB passed away at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving wife Alice (née Chabbert) and six children: Lillian Mabon, Gérald (Claudia), Robert (Geraldine), Evelyne Mabon, Jeannine (Murray) Skayman and René (Bonnie) Mabon; 13 grandchildren: Annick (Trevor Beaudet), Joline (Tony) Nostedt, Joel (Danelle Hueging), Eric (Amy) Kester-Mabon, Lisa (Tyler Devaney), Danièle, Nathalie, Nicole (Aaron) Ludvigson, Stephanie (Brandin) Wilkinson, Darcy, Michel, David and Nicholas; eight great-grandchildren: Cameron, Finn, Henry, Logan, Mattie, Reggie, Colden and Nyla. He also leaves to mourn his brother George (Jeanne) Mabon, sister-in-law Julie Mabon and Alice's family: Lou Lou (Colombe) Chabbert and Laurette McGreevy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Jean was predeceased by his parents Julien and Jeanne Mabon, three brothers: Marcel (Juliette), Pierre and André Mabon. Prayers will be held at Adam's Funeral Home on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Notre Dame Roman Catholic Church on Friday, May 16, 2014. Rosary and Video Tribute at 1:30 p.m. followed by Mass at 2:00 p.m. with Father Armand Le Gal officiating. Family interment to follow in the Parish Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Notre Dame Health Foundation-Notre Dame Hospital, Box 190, Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0 or to the Notre Dame Foyer, Box 190, Notre Dame de Lourdes, MB R0G 1M0.
