Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryDAVID LLOYD CHAPPELL It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David Chappell in his 94th year on May 10, 2014. David is survived by his wife Joan Bender, his daughter Barbara, his son Craig (Val), his brothers Frank and Syd and his loving grand and great-grandchildren. David is predeceased by his first wife Mary. Dave was born and raised in Winnipeg. He served in the Canadian Air Force before returning to school to become a dentist. Dave enjoyed a long full life and was very fortunate to have Joan and her loving family by his side these past two years. A special thank you to the staff at the Victoria General for their support during his illness. Donations may be made to the charity of your choice. A celebration of Dave's life will take place at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 17, 2014. Chapel Lawn www.chapellawn.ca 885-9715

Dr Chappell was my first dentist. He was gentle, patient and kind. Our parents often scheduled appointments at lunch hour or right after school. We went on our own without any fears.
