HENRY LOEPPKY It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Henry on February 13, 2014 at the age of 72 years. After a long illness, Henry passed away peacefully at the Bethaney Care Home in Calgary, AB. He was predeceased by his parents: John and Mary Loeppky of Winnipeg, MB; parents-in-law: Cecil and Isabel Hart, and sister in-law: Elaine Hart. Henry is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Joyce Loeppky, daughters: Elaine Dyrda and Linda Bak; grandchildren: April Dyrda and Sean Dyrda, and Evan Bak, brothers and sisters: John and Grace Loeppky, Jack and Gladys Loeppky, Mary Ann Loeppky, Wanda Jones all of Winnipeg, Dave and Verna Loeppky of Calgary, AB, Frances and Walter Gilchuk of Hinton, AB, Aunt Margaret and Uncle Ron Morris of Brandon, MB and Aunt Elsie Hildebrand of Winnipeg; brothers and sister-in-law: Reg and Alice Hart of Ste. Anne, MB, Gord and Bev Hart of Selkirk, MB, Don and Margi Hart of Shuswap, BC, Jack (Cecil) and Heather Hart of Sicamous, BC, Darlene and Larry Kehler of Winnipeg. He will be dearly missed by all his family, extended family, friends and co-workers. There will be a Celebration of Henry's life on Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Bourkvale Community Centre, 100 Ferry Road, south of Portage Avenue, in Winnipeg from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please RSVP to Mary Ann Loeppky at 204-837-5622 after 6:00 p.m. or mallovescats@gmail.com

  • Hello Joyce, I am not sure how I ran into this obituary tonight. I believe you are in a road to health tonight. It was very interesting to see Henry’s obituary tonight. And still see a lot of you family still alive. We have lost Mom and Dad, brother Ed and sister Lil. I have often thought about you and your family. I hope you are still doing well! I am still in Vancouver and planning to go to Winnipeg this fall. Would love to meet up for a lunch if you are available. Take care!
