He is survived by his wife Laura (25 years), daughters Lorena (Norman) Severson, Ottawa, Naomi (Marcel) Simoens, Brandon, granddaughters Kayla and Kristy, stepson Matthew (Cheryl) Klassen, Red Deer, grandchildren Corey (Ashley) and Rachelle. He is survived by brothers Henry, Bernhard, Ernie, sisters Anne, Helena, Margaret, Hilda and Linda, predeceased by Jake and Katie. Funeral services will be held at Thomson in the Park Funeral House, McGillivray Blvd. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Emmanuel Evangelical Free Church, Steinbach, building project.
