PENNY ARONOVITCH (nee PARKS) It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, Penny Aronovitch at the age of 72 on May 3, 2014. Penny was predeceased by her husband Brian and parents Sidney and Esther Parks and is survived by her children Drew (Sara Devora) Aronovitch, Fraser (Marla) Aronovitch, Lois (Michael) Powell and Steven (Amy) Aronovitch and brothers Ross and Calvin (Louise) Parks. Penny dedicated and lived her life for her husband, her children and her grand and great- grandchildren. Penny always put others before herself and there was nothing she would never do for anyone. Penny easily made many friends over the years and she was an extended aunt to many. Penny was also loved by her uncles, aunts and cousins who loved to dote on her and always appreciated her infectious laugh. She cherished every relationship and would amaze others with her terrific memory by recounting events from many years prior. Penny was the travel agent for many. Her pleasure was seeing that her clients' unforgettable memories would be lifetime treasures. The family would like to thank all of those that made Mom's life that much more comfortable over her last years. Special thanks to Elliott and Elaine Saunders, Gail Spivak, Jill Atnikov and a very special thank you to Jeff Pash. The family would also like to thank the staff at the Portsmouth and the Victoria Hospital. Pallbearers were Lee and Ben Aronovitch, Ross and Michael Pash, Scott Margolis and Harry Odwak. Donations in her memory can be made to CancerCare Manitoba. Everyone is very saddened with the loss of Penny, but her appreciation for humanity will never be forgotten.
