ELIZABETH (BETTE) MCCLURE Peacefully on Saturday morning, May 17, 2014, Elizabeth (Bette) Hunter McClure passed away surrounded by her family. Bette is predeceased by her husband Allan, sister Georgina Poulton and her parents Mary and George McClure. She will be missed by her brother Charles McClure (Eleanor) sister Cathie Van Dusen (Lloyd) brother-in-law Norman Poulton, sister-in-law Kay Wright (Bob) brother-in-law David McClure (Margaret), and numerous nieces and nephews. Bette and Allan built the Ringbinder Company together in Edmonton, and after retirement enjoyed many winters in Arizona. Bette was a longtime member of the Gyro Club of Edmonton and enjoyed golfing. Bette and Al finally decided to return to Winnipeg to be closer to family and friends. Bette's family would like to thank the staff of the Oakview Nursing Home, especially the North Wing, for their care and compassion. As per Bette's wishes, cremation has taken place and there will be no service. A private interment will take place at a later date.
