Send Flowers to the Family Offer Condolences or MemoryWILLIAM STEFANYSHEN The family of William Stefanyshen regrets to announce the peaceful passing of our dear husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the McCreary/Alonsa Health Centre. Born on April 12, 1920 in the Glenhope District of Manitoba, Bill married Julia Shura on June 5, 1943 and built a life together on the farm off Armstrong Road. In July 1999 they moved into their home in McCreary. Dad is survived by his beloved wife Julia, sister Sally Day and; daughter Carol (Bruce) Babcock, Roberta (Allan) Desserre, Ryan (Renee); daughter Lorraine (Dennis) Hallick, Dean (Lisa), Kent (Rhea), Justin (Lesley); daughter Geraldine (Karl) Stuhm, Kevin (Jerilyn), Amanda (Stewart) Zalluski. Dad was blessed with 17 grandchildren. The family would like to send their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of the McCreary/Alonsa Health Centre as well as all the home care workers who attended to Dad who always helped in their time of need. Funeral service Saturday, May 24, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. McCreary Roman Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the McCreary Ladies Health Auxiliary.
