HELEN MAGER (nee HARDER) March 5, 1946 - May 21, 2014 Peacefully, and maintaining her love and devotion to the end, Helen Mager passed away on the evening of May 21, 2014 at the Pinawa Hospital. Her battle continued for more than eight years, a final chapter has come to a close with her passing to meet her Lord and Maker. She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Budd, for more than 48 years, two daughters Sonja (Mason) and Shirley, son Bruce (Maria), grandsons Colin and Sean, granddaughters Kristel, Angela (Mike), Julia, and great-grandchild Liam, with a second one in the near future. The family would like to express many thanks to Lianne for her personal touch in maintaining our home in an immaculate state during our difficult times, Brenda for her efforts with meals, respite and her overall attention to adding love, humour, care and compassion to our home, and Annette for meals and personal care for Helen. Also to Michelle and Connie of the CancerCare Facility (Pinawa) and the Health Sciences Centre CancerCare Facility for their efforts in prolonging her life. A special thanks to Dr. Bruneau for the care and compassion. Also a thanks to RANA Representative, Kelvin Kidd for his efforts to deliver oxygen and supplies over the last number of years. Cremation has taken place. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Helen's memory to the CancerCare Facility at Pinawa Hospital.
